ODIN. The document management system DoMa is contained within the ODIN database and is designed to enhance the dissemination of information amongst the research and development community sectors and is used by energy related research and development projects for the management of internal documents and the dissemination of public reports. Any type of electronic record (i.e. document, spreadsheet, graphic, etc.) may be stored. At the Institute for Energy, DoMa has been used to deploy networks for energy related research and development, specifically for Nuclear Energy and for Conventional Energy.
NUCLEONICA. This is a new nuclear science web portal from the European Commission's Joint Research Centre. The portal provides a customisable, integrated environment and collaboration platform for the nuclear sciences using the latest internet "Web 2.0" dynamic technology.
STRESA. A considerable amount of resources has been devoted by JRC during the past two-decades to the establishment of experimental programs for the generation of reference data bases to support code development and assessment. The extent to which the experimental data bases are preserved and can be eventually accessed and/or recovered is an issue often debated in the nuclear community. In addition to the loss of skilled resources, a compounding problem is the rapid advancement of computer hardware technology which is making several of the storage methods obsolete and as such access to the data practically impaired.

NEA data bank
The primary goal of the NEA in this area is to disseminate nuclear data and associated documentation to member country users. In order to accomplish this goal, the NEA is currently: 1. compiling experimental nuclear data and bibliographic information; 2. collecting evaluated nuclear data; 3. exchanging of nuclear data of all types with other data centres; 4. promoting the development of special purpose evaluated data files; 5. developing common formats for computerised exchange of nuclear data; 6. co-ordinating the development of computer software for managing and disseminating nuclear data.
